1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website (lahiruoil.lk) and purchasing products from Lahiru Oil Company, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Products & Nature of Goods
We manufacture 100% natural coconut oil. Due to the nature of natural products:
- The aroma and slight color variations may occur between batches depending on the coconut harvest season.
- Solidification: Pure coconut oil naturally solidifies below 24°C (75°F). This is a mark of purity, not a defect.
- Quality Assurance: We guarantee that our oil is free from adulteration and meets SLS (Sri Lanka Standards) requirements for coconut oil.
3. Ordering & Payments
- Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice due to fluctuations in raw nut prices in the Sri Lankan market.
- Bulk Orders: Wholesale rates apply for orders exceeding 20 Liters. These must be confirmed directly via phone or WhatsApp.
- Payment: We accept cash on delivery for local orders and bank transfers for bulk/export orders.
4. Delivery & Pickup
Factory Pickup: Customers can pick up orders directly from our mill in Meepe, Padukka during working hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Delivery: Delivery is available for bulk orders within the Colombo district. Timelines will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.
5. Returns & Refunds
Due to the consumable nature of the product, we generally do not accept returns. However, if you believe the product is defective (e.g., damaged container, quality issue), please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will investigate and provide a replacement if the fault is ours.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
